Jill Duncan is currently the Director of Marketing for Bon Appétit Management Company on the Washington University in St. Louis account (Washington University Dining Services). She received a degree in Statistics with an emphasis in Marketing & Finance in 2000 at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Jill has been an advocate for environmental sustainability, organics, local foods, and natural/alternative health modalities for many years. Her career began at Clovers Natural Market and blossomed into National Account Manager for an herbal nutrition company, Statistical Data Analyst and Consultant for Washington University Department of Medicine Biostatistics Consulting Center, business owner and practitioner of Thai Massage, Yoga Teacher, Wine Specialist, Marketing Specialist at Wild Oats Market, Marketing Specialist for Whole Foods Market, and recently joined Bon Appétit. Jill is a board member of the Bi-State Celiac Support Group, Certified National Massage Therapist, Certified Thai Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher, Certified Wine Specialist through the International Sommelier Guild, World-Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms (WWOOF) member, and Slow Food St. Louis member. Her interests, passions and involvement in the St. Louis community and world are widespread. She enjoys traveling, wine & food, yoga, Spanish studies, photography, swimming, African dancing, singing, local music, and has formed numerous wine and food groups. Her travels abroad have been far reaching and have included extensive volunteer work in organic farms and vineyards in New Zealand and Italy, teaching children in Cambodia, and with the Whole Planet Foundation (wholeplanetfoundation.org) in Costa Rica where she did reforestation and began English teaching program in an under-privileged village.
