RouteShout, named one of the top ten transit tech innovations by Mass Transit magazine in February 2010, is now available to all Metro St. Louis riders at no cost. RouteShout provides upcoming bus arrival times by stop and allows riders to find the stop that’s nearest to them or to select their favorite stop by browsing a list of stop locations. By selecting a bus time, riders can view the route on a map, complete with markers that depict each stop along the route. Riders can access Routeshout on their mobile web browser at m.routeshout.com or by downloading the free iPhone and Android applications.
Recently hailed as “The Wireless Future of Transportation” by Wired, RouteShout was developed by Pittsburgh-based Deeplocal, a mobile software design, development, and strategy studio that spun out of Carnegie Mellon University’s art and technology research lab. RouteShout is available in over 90 cities including Dallas, Pittsburgh, Chicago, New York, and Columbus. RouteShout also caters to the more than 2.4 billion active SMS users worldwide by enabling public transit companies to make their timetable data accessible over text message.
Public transit is growing rapidly nationwide, fueled by a trend towards greener, more affordable alternatives to car commuting and many agencies are working on improving rider communication in their cities. Transit authorities around the country are beginning to adopt the RouteShout service.
RouteShout is a 3rd party application and is not associated with Metro Transit Saint Louis.

Routeshout does not seem to work for me. The nearby stops come up, but all of them say “No arrivals in the next two hours.” Even the metrolink stop. Has anyone got this to work?
